When Spiritual Leaders Convert to Christianity and then Scorn the Spiritual Community

This is a spicy topic. I sound mad, but I’m mostly wanting to share this because it can be SO EFFING HARMFUL!! For spiritual leaders of any kind to lead with shame instead of love!!

I’ve seen so many spiritual leaders turning into anti-spirituality leaders. It’s a form of spiritual abuse 😬.

Nobody, especially a leader, should ever shame someone into follow a specific religion or stop a spiritual belief. If they really care and love ppl the way they say they do, then no matter what their beliefs are...

THEY SHOULD LEAD WITH LOVE!

when a post, dm, convo or story comes up that makes you question your beliefs... go inward. Go into your heart. Ask yourself if this is TRUE for ME. Does it feel loving?

Truth is subjective. It will resonate differently for everyone.

I have had sooo many existential crises. I never blindly believe anything, which is a mixed blessing lol.

Do I believe in Jesus?

Fuck ya. He’s my guide. But not at allll in the religious sense. He is an unconditionally loving soul that offers me forgiveness, guidance and reassurance. We’re tight. I didn’t beleive it until I met him in meditation last year 🤷‍♀️.

Alsooo here’s a rough example of a few actual dm convos 👀🙃.

Anti-new-age-person: You need to find Jesus.

Me: hey thanks, I talk to him all the time.

ANAP: you are experiencing an illusion, the work you do is dark magic. You have noooo idea what you’re messing with. I used to think it was fine too, but its not and I want to save you.

Me: no thanks. Jesus actually led me to this work. I believe in him, not a religion that tried to force beliefs into me. I’m feeling resistance to this conversation and I would appreciate that you stop.

I’ve been objectively observing many angles of my spiritual beliefs and practices since I was a child. I know there’s low and high vibes, and that our energy, intentions and beliefs impact everything in our reality.

I anchor my work and practice into Jesus and high vibes, so that’s what it becomes 💁🏼‍♀️.

I love ppl that are religious, atheist or anything in between. Its not up to me to ‘save’ anyone. I trust that people will find their path if or when they are ready 🌱.
